Google on Monday announced a new incremental update for Android Nougat. The new version is 7.1.2 and anyone looking to beta test it before the official release can do so.

“Android 7.1.2 is an incremental maintenance release focused on refinements, so it includes a number of bugfixes and optimizations, along with a small number of enhancements for carriers and users.” Google said in its announcement.

The final build of Android 7.1.2 will be available in a couple of months for a variety of devices, including the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, and Pixel C. The Nexus 6 will not receive the Android 7.1.2 update but it will continue to receive monthly security patches.

To test the beta version, you have to enroll your device in the beta program (if it’s not included already) and wail for Google to roll out the update over-the-air. To enroll your device in the beta program, head over to android.com/beta and register for the update.

Alternatively, if you don’t want to wait for the OTA then you can download the factory images from Android developers website.
